PRINCIPAL BUSINESS ANALYST
Job Description
• Serves as a visionary for new product functionality as well as a project lead/subject matter expert.
• Drives the break down of high-level business and user requirements into functional product designs, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the product design
• Leads requirements prioritization.
• Mentors design reviews/inspections of work product documents derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
• Provides domain knowledge/product knowledge to development and QA teams.
• Directs the evolution and implementation of product development processes and tools.
• Identifies authors and implements ways to reuse components across designs and/or projects.
• Writes documentation to be used for formal corporate communications, such as whitepapers.
• Advises regarding the formulation of project plans, including creating estimates for product design efforts.
Qualifications
• 12 years relevant experience in the design and/or use of enterprise business software applications.
• Mastery of business processes associated with application domain.
• Domain expertise in ERP industry
