Summary:
The Quality Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of the assigned software applications by executing functional test cases and scripts. The Quality Analyst creates manual and automated functional test cases/scripts and test infrastructures for the product or features being tested. The incumbent participates in the identifying, developing, creating and improving the functional testing processes, framework and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Works with project teams and learns to ensure the quality of assigned applications.
• Works with a content expert to execute test plans and to create test case(s) for complex projects.
• Creates manual test or automated test cases based on design and requirements.
• Executes manual and automated test cases and scripts and analyze the output to ensure functionality regression and new feature of the products during a release cycle.
• Enters product failure issues into the problem tracking system.
• Documents test scripts in a common repository.
• Helps maintain the proper test environments, to include the installation of products under test and complimentary products.
• Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.
• Participates in code reviews for test scripts within the test group
• Works with project teams and ensures the quality of assigned applications.
• Defines and executes test plans and technical test designs for complex projects.
• Creates functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test.
• Creates manual and automated test cases/scripts and test infrastructures; Performs testing based on the development lifecycle.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in the related field
- Experience working within an Agile and Scrum environment
- Working knowledge in the ff.
