POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting, analyzing and summarizing financial and operational performance results including variance and trend analysis, risks and opportunity assessment, identification and follow up of corrective actions, and driving fact-based business decision-making.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and balance the responsibility of maintaining appropriate financial controls by developing strong and trusted working relationships with Operations teams. Develop Budget and Forecasts with Operations and identify risks and opportunities. Review and analyze financial results and compare with company model and industry standards. Identify and research variances to Budget and prior periods. Works with Management team to prepare compensation plans that result in appropriate revenue coverage and cost effectiveness. Prepare reporting and analysis related to Bookings, Pipeline, Trending, Headcount, Travel and Rep Performance. Prepare Revenue Reconciliations for BU reporting. Review P&L's for accuracy and work with accounting on any necessary reclasses. Approve headcount and ensure staying within budget guidelines. Approve PO's and invoices and work with accounting on coding. Provide support to accounting for audit issues. Monitor specific cost initiatives to help ensure targets are met. Participate in Acquisition or Reorganization financial modeling. Prepare reporting for Board and Management. Various AdHoc Analysis.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications: Accounting or Finance degree or relevant experience. 5+ years of accounting or financial analyst experience. Displays leadership skills. Exercises solid judgement and works with minimal supervision. Meticulous and keen attention to details. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
o 7-8 years Management Experience
• Prior experience in a FP&A and Control role in an Enterprise software company (Cloud or On Premise Perpetual model) is advantageous
o Preferably with experience in the Software Industry.
• Prior experience comfortable functioning in a matrix organization
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or MBA preferred (or equivalent qualification)
• Bi-lingual fluency beyond English will be advantageous
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light travel may be required and ability to travel internationally if required
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and adherence to tight reporting timelines
