Role: Technical Consultant
As Technical Consultant, you will need to gain the knowledge of Mongoose Framework and build application using the framework using ION. You will need to gain knowledge in the new areas where Infor will be making customized application using the framework and also in areas of integration between products. You will need to write the design documents at times after understanding the business process from the customer. You need to design the architect of the solution. You might be required travelling to customer base. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to the agreed approaches, methodologies and processes during the implementation with right and current knowledge levels to start.
• Responsible for the requirement management and interaction with the ICS and customers
• Responsible to get the knowledge with new functionality
• To meet/exceed and maintain service levels as assigned by management.
• To meet/exceed expected reliability standards.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors/Master’s degree
• Over three-six years overall experience in the technical areas as required
• Should have worked on few integration projects
• Worked on Modules like Finance and have understanding of ERP
• Exposure to Mongoose Framework, ERP & ION is a big plus.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Server Technologies
• Very good knowledge in RDBMS concepts
• 4-6 years’ experience as PL/SQL programming
• Very good at SQL Queries, writing Stored procedures, Functions and Handling SQL / Oracle Schemas/Table spaces
• Very good at Technical analytical / logical reasoning skills
• Very good at SQL server/SQL 2005/SQL 2008
• Experience in ERP Domain
• Good at Crystal Reports and SSRS
• Proven skill set of optimized query writing
• Very Good communication and presentation skills required
• Knowledge in Discrete Manufacturing domain is an added advantage
• Other
o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written and listening);
o Ability to pick the new Framework
o Zeal ti learn new technical areas
o Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency;
o Ability to read and understand technical documentation; and
o Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing.
