Hansen Consultants
• JOB DESCRIPTION:
o Performs product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis.
o Consultants are responsible for working with our customers all-through the project planning, application configuration and deployment/roll-out to end users.
o This involves customer-facing and online meetings/calls, hands-on software configuration, project documentation, and WebEx and onsite training sessions.
o As we operate in a fast-paced environment, you can prepare to work on multiple tasks and with a number of customers during the course of a day. Since our customers are located in various parts of world, you can expect travel.
o Ready to travel and assist in performing on-site client work in a very short notice without any conditions at any location (inside India, out of India).
o Flexible and ready to work in any time zone and weekends.
• PRIMARY FUNCTION:
o To perform design, implementation and maintenance of complex, multiple product modules/sub-systems.
o To perform moderate to complex product design activities that require extensive research and analysis with excellent reasoning/logical/analytical skills.
o To participate in product design, support and maintenance meetings.
o To perform complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
o To research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop optimized solutions to the problems.
o To execute unit testing, integration testing for every development.
o To follow all the metrics in delivering the best quality product.
o To assist in performing on-site client work.
o To take care of product with minimal transition from product architects.
o To follow the processes defined at organization/department level.
o To documentation every development work in detail as per the process guideline.
o To communicate effectively, fluently in written/oral with a good interpersonal skills as a team player.
o Able to perform the defined activities with minimal supervision and zeal to perform more than what is defined.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o BE\BTECH\ME\MCA\MTECH (with strong computer science and public sector/government agencies knowledge).
o 2 to 3 years of technical experience in software design and product support.
o Strong Functional knowledge in Public Sector / Government agencies (preferably from the North American region).
o Strong technical and application knowledge and working experience in C#, OOPS, ASP .NET, ADO.NET, XML, XML Schema and SQL Server, JQuery, JavaScript, Share Point Server and Windows Application Development.
o Working experience in Government / Public sector industry is an added advantage.
• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
o Excellent technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
o Excellent analytical, logical, reasoning skills with great grasping capacity.
o Excellent analysing and designing skills at multiple product levels.
o Excellent knowledge in public sector/government agencies.
o Microsoft Certification (MCSA / MCSD / MCSE) is a plus.
o Oracle Database Administration / Microsoft SQL Server Certification is a plus.
