Senior Consultant – CPQ
Our growing North American Consulting organization is looking for experienced CPQ Consultants with at least three years of experience to join our consulting organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Utilizes technical skills and industry knowledge to evaluate customer needs and implement leading edge solutions using Infor’s CPQ product suite.
• Leverages experience in quote to order business process along with industry specific knowledge to match customer needs to Infor CPQ software.
• Has expertise in Manufacturing or related industry.
• Works independently on large and/or complex technical projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to derive customer requirement, communicate the end solution and drive other consulting resources to complete implementation tasks.
• Uses advanced configuration rule writing techniques to solve complex business problems while preserving the maintainability of the code
• An expert in multiple functional and technical areas of software technology for both Infor and non-Infor product.
• Perform installation and configuration of all core and "add-on" products onsite and remotely
• Lead detailed implementation planning, project planning and coordination around Infor CPQ product suite
• Provide analysis and recommendations to client on project phases, milestones, and overall progress
• Ability to estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; contributes to project plan incorporating all project variables.
• Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
Education and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in software implementation and consulting
• Experience in quote to order business process
• Implementation experience with CPQ software preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
• Must be collaborative to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers.
• Ability to travel overnight about 50-75% of the time.
• Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
• Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
