Role: QA Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3-5 years
Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA
Responsibilities:
• Perform product test case design, writing, execution and maintenance for single product modules/sub-systems or lower level issues on multiple products.
• Conduct system, integration and regression testing.
• Submit defects based on execution of test plan.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different dev and QA teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• The individual will work closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution
Required Skills:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in product testing, development, research, deployment.
• Experience in testing J2EE, web based applications
• 2 years’ experience in SQL & Oracle DB Server; 4+ years for Sr. QA Analyst
• Should be self-directed, team oriented, detail oriented, and be flexible in a very dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as exemplified by clear bug/issue explanations, test cases, documentation of knowledge, and effective intra- and inter-group communications
Additional desired skills/experience:
• Experience in web services testing
• Experience in automation (QTP, Selenium), ALM preferred
• Experience in/knowledge of Car Rental industry will be an asset.
