SUMMARY:
Infor is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, Principal to join the team. The QA Analyst works on implementations of the Infor Rhythm for Commerce product on services projects for customer engagements. This person is responsible for reviewing requirements; assessing impact of new features and modifications into the existing system; creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases; deployment and updating test environments and defect management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of software quality assurance testing required
RESPONSIBILITES:
Implement the QA strategy, as defined by QA management
Identify the resource needs and estimate the QA efforts
Track QA progress and report status to management
Review requirements and other specifications to assess impact areas to the existing system and for completeness, accuracy, reliability and conformance
Execute test plans and test cases
Identify and recreate defects and perform defect fix verification of software defects, using a defect tracking tool (JIRA)
Work with developers and business analysts to resolve outstanding issues
Work closely with other QA analysts and functional team members to remove impediments, and to identify and mitigate project risk
Deploy, maintain and update the Infor suite of products in a multi-server environment
May be required to work extended hours to meet project timelines as needed
Represent Infor in a professional and positive manner when interacting with the customers
Travel to the customer sites to support or assist the customer during their testing cycle
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Defect reporting and tracking
Test case management
SQA and Agile methodologies and practices
Basic knowledge of SQL
Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with creating and editing XML
Experience testing in an Agile development environment
Communicates in English effectively (both written and verbally)
Mentorship and leadership abilities
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience testing mobile and web applications
Experience testing enterprise web applications in a cloud environment
Understanding of retail concepts, terminology and system knowledge
