The Infor Retail Supply Chain team is building next generation Retail products. Our goal is to build a high-performance cloud-based architecture providing unique value to our clients. SUMMARY: Infor Retail is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Consultant, with 7+ years of combined Retail and Consulting Experience to join our team to implement our products at some of the world’s largest retailers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain or Business related field
• MBA or equivalent Business Experience
• 5+ years of Retail or CPG Experience with emphasis on Allocation and Replenishment activities
• 2+ years of Consulting Experience
RESPONSIBILITES:
• As an expert in the business domain, guide implementations to maximize business insights and value achieved
• Work with clients to discover and understand their particular business needs; capture and document the business model, requirements, and user stories to be implemented
• Using knowledge of the platform, work with the technical and science team to implement the data model, business rules, and UI configuration in the most effective and efficient way considering technical implications
• Recommend business process changes for optimal implementation, to effectively deliver the software application and configuration
• Follow the Infor “do-learn-do” agile project delivery methodology, delivery standards and best practices
• Teach clients how to use the platform to extract value and insights that benefit their daily job function, across several levels of stakeholders
• Work closely with the Infor project team as well as client project team to validate features and ensure quality and acceptance metrics are met
• Using expertise and knowledge of the market and your customers, play a critical role establishing the Infor product roadmaps
• Mentor Supply Chain team members including lower level Business Consultants
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Superior verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment
• Experience driving priorities across multi-departmental teams
• Understanding of Retail KPI’s
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
• Comfort Communicating at all levels of a Company including C level executives
• Minimum of 3 years related experience in Allocation/Replenishment, inventory management/order management or merchandising.
• Experience with Retail Planning and Replenishment systems.
• Transportation Management Experience a plus
• Retail Forecasting/Demand Planning Experience a plus
• Prior Project Management Experience a plus
• Retail Experience in Grocery, Fashion Apparel or Housewares a plus
• Be available to travel on average up to 50-60 percent to client premises
