JOB POSITION: Principal Architect, HCM
JOB LOCATION: Remote
JOB SUMMARY: Design, build, and deploy Cloud solutions for Infor’s HCM product suite as part of the development team. Leverage new single sign-on components, integration tools, and deployment methodologies in a heterogenous hosting environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitates research, design, development, and integration of technology architectures and plans to align with business strategy, goals, and objectives.
• In response to specific problems/opportunities as well as overall business objectives, formulates conceptual architectural options and communicates choices to multiple audiences.
• Assists senior managers in developing the IT vision and strategy.
• Works with development team to implement solutions.
• Formulates conceptual architectures and communicates architectural vision, goals, and design objectives to multiple audiences on business and technology side.
• Ability to work independently: evaluate existing needs; set appropriate objectives and priorities; initiate business line relationships; drive to results-oriented architectures and roadmaps
• Leads the development of technology strategies and roadmaps for emerging technologies, evaluating usefulness, and making recommendations regarding selected technologies.
• Detailed knowledge of application development and testing tools, processes, standards, and best practices (including the areas of application performance and production management).
• Work with engineering professionals, architects and other stakeholders within Infor to ensure that the solution will scale appropriately and cost effectively.
• Help teams and individuals design a sound software testing strategy and work with developers and engineers from the architecture perspective during construction phase.
• Understand the Applications/ Platform in depth, evaluate and define all the security, performance, accessibility and integrations considerations in architecture.
• Document the test design in the form of a conceptual approach which will be used as the basis for sizing and the creation of detailed test design.
• Interact with QA Management, Development, Dev Ops, Cloud Ops, and other teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Requires BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
• Prior hands on experience with SaaS applications.
• Architect with leadership and hands-on experience in strategic analysis and enterprise-wide technology.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; experience presenting to senior executive management to get buy in for initiatives needed in order to reach long-term goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Experience with the tools and presentation formats necessary for documenting, communicating, and presenting architectural concepts and application roadmaps to both business and technology groups.
• Knowledge of application development and testing tools, processes, standards, and best practices
• System Tuning
• Familiarity with user authentication technologies
• Experience with data integrations
