JOB POSITION: Quality Analyst
JOB LOCATION: St. Paul, MN
JOB SUMMARY: Performs and/or supports testing tasks to ensure that developed products meet design specifications. Communicates verbally and written with product developers, business analysts, quality analysts and technical support specialists on product issues. Develops test scripts that will be primarily focused on Infor’s Cloud Suite for Corporate, Healthcare and Public Sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilizes well-developed professional skills and solid functional/technical knowledge to perform essential functions.
• Executes Test Plans and communicates results to a large audience on a daily basis.
• Creates defect reports on issues found
• Continually seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and skills and stays current with evolving technology and/or business environment.
• Works with larger complex projects.
• Evaluates project needs and develops programs, processes and/or specifications to address.
• Develops, maintains or generates data needed to test scenario/scripts; documents test scripts in a common repository.
• Works with a team of Quality Assurance Analysts/Engineers in the identification, development, creation and improvement of the testing processes/framework.
• Reviews metrics and reports on test results/status.
• Ensures adherence to QA process best practices including defect management, test case execution and metrics reporting, requirements traceability.
• Assists in creating automated test scripts based upon business processes (end to end)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in development, research, product testing or support.
• 1+ years’ experience in developing test automation scripts.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Ability to communicate effectively written and verbally.
• Knowledge of software development, processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies
• Experience in test-planning, design, defect tracking and automated test case/script creation and execution.
• Flexibility in work hours since the team is Global.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Test automation with Selenium
• Knowledge of Jira
