SUMMARY:
The Software Automation Engineer’s primary responsibilities include software testing design, planning, scripting and test execution for a variety of enterprise applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs product test script automation design, write, execution and maintenance for Cloud Suite End to End integration and regression testing.
• Submit defects based on execution of test plan.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with other teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• The individual will work closely with developers, project managers and Product QA teams executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution
• Perform automated testing cycles using Krypton Automation Framework
• Will also assist in manual test case writing and execution as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• MIS or BS in Computer Science or related degree or 2 years of experience.
• 0-3 years of QA experience developing test cases
• 1 year of experience or training in java
• 1 year of experience or training in MS SQL Scripting
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent scripting skills (preferably using java)
• Technical background and an understanding of software applications
• Ability to work independent or within a team in high stress environment
• Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Relevant work experience in automated development and/or testing role.
• Experience in test automation framework (Keyword/Data driven/ Hybrid, etc)
• Experience integrating automation scripts with ALM preferred
• QA experience (manual or automated) with Infor EAM or Infor Hospitality applications
• QA experience (manual or automated) with ERP and/or Property Management applications
• Experience working with teams based in multiple geographies
