• JOB POSITION: ICS Distribution Competency Center Manager
• JOB LOCATION: Remote, United States
• JOB SUMMARY: Works as a Distribution Consulting team Competency Center Manager, managing a significant portion of the distribution portfolio of the US practice. Oversees staffing, capacity planning, product packaging and certifications, customer engagements, time and expense reporting, and revenue management. Expertise and work efforts are focused on leading the General Distribution consulting practice to meeting objectives, both financial, customer and corporate perspectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide guidance and leadership to Consulting organization.
• Strive for a constantly improving level of service and simplified process.
• Take steps/actions to insure quality turnover of projects to clients.
• Act as management sponsor for multiple deployment project.
• Drive and Support sufficient revenue opportunities. Provide guidance and leadership to project managers on developing additional add-on customer projects.
• Assist sales (license and Infor Consulting Services (ICS) ) during the sales cycle to close business
• Provide weekly forecast updates of forecasted revenue to actual revenue on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Work with others in the management group to insure the group meets the revenue, utilization, and performance targets within the ICS guidelines.
• Provide proper internal and external attitude regarding the Infor Culture and management expectations. Provide meaningful ideas and processes to improve the overall group performance. Provide feedback to management for improvement of the team.
• Lead role on developing new delivery capabilities related specifically to the Group. Leverage existing resources to develop new approaches, new staffing mix etc. to expand the capability and revenue for the group.
• Manage delivery escalation of customers when needed.
• Assist where appropriate in A/R collections.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of increasingly more responsible consulting experience including project management experience as well as experience managing a consulting delivery team
• Consulting experience in the ERP space, including leadership experience
• Able to travel extensively
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Several years of increasingly more responsible consulting experience, including experience managing ERP Software Consulting organizations. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
