JOB POSITION: Professional Services – Learning Consultant
JOB LOCATION: Nashua, NH
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide support to Infor customers and partners, documenting this support in department's call tracking system. Use knowledge based tools to diagnose, research and resolve technical issues. This position will also provide onsite training and installation services to Infor customers and partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate implementation meetings for software installations, through telephone contact or onsite
• visits; and
• provide training for software within the scope of knowledge and abilities;
• Conduct software troubleshooting, through telephone or onsite
• visits, for supported software within the scope of
• knowledge and abilities, or direct to appropriate entities;
• Coordinate or assist in coordinating installation of new applications and/or upgrades;
• Involved in training needs assessment and creating processes to meet needs;
• Develop documentation for custom applications and packaged applications;
• Deliver training to a variety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles;
• There is about 75% travel throughout the US.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Ability to travel
• Exhibit strong communication skills
• Ability to comprehend technically complex system configurations
• Ability to convert technical or scientific specifications into layman’s English
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Restaurant/Service Industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with computer POS technology
• Experience navigating Microsoft Windows applications and Web based Applications
