Director of Alliance & Marketing Programs

SUMMARY:
The Director of Alliance & Marketing Programs is responsible for planning and implementing integrated digital campaigns to generate demand and drive revenue with Infor partners in support of joint revenue targets, and for creating high-impact communications programs.
Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Develop marketing plans together with Partners and Alliances Directors, segmenting tactics by qtr, and implement marketing programs (digital, email, webinars, events, etc.) that generate leads to meet Alliance goals
• Manage the execution of marketing efforts: manage segmentation of database & list management, content development, acquisition & lead nurturing strategies
• Track, monitor, follow-up and report timely results of demand generation programs to present to Alliance Management, Alliances Directors and Partner teams weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Direct and interface directly with 3rd party agencies to construct, execute, manage and monitor campaigns
• Create compelling content such as web pages, banner ads, brochures and other written copy for use in joint campaigns and/or communications.
• Manage digital campaign projects with 3rd party vendors from initial design and requirements gathering through to delivery
• Understand Infor solution portfolio strengths, functionality and the competition in sufficient depth to devise & execute demand generation programs together with partners
• Understand partner’s go to market strategy, service offerings, strengths and key capabilities to effectively devise joint Infor/Partner value propositions for use in campaign development
• Develop high-impact communications, develop communication tactics & plans to internal & external audiences including partners, customers, prospects and Infor field teams
• Understand budgeting and manage against departmental budgets and partner MDF budgets
• Maintain Infor’s social media presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms as it pertains to the Infor Global Alliances Ecosystem
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills, knowledge and attributes:
• Business to Business marketing and communications experience with Enterprise Software provider or Systems Integrator
• 7+ years of experience in marketing, alliance programs management with knowledge of digital marketing strategies
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent project and partner management abilities
• Ability to respond quickly to changing demands and market conditions
• Commitment to teamwork and ability to operate in a matrix management environment
• Microsoft Office experience mandatory with extensive emphasis on Excel, Powerpoint, & Sharepoint
• HTML design experience a plus
• Proof of writing experience for campaign materials (i.e. emails, slide decks, summaries, abstracts, etc.) may be solicited
• Familiarity with databases and tools such as Eloqua, Marketo.
EDUCATION:
• 4 year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, MBA a plus
