Role: Software Engineer, Senior (Java)
Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA / Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience: 6 to 8 years
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Researching, designing, programming, delivering and maintaining a cloud based hospitality industry enterprise application using Java Enterprise tools and technologies
• Working with business analysts and quality assurance engineers to ensure the accuracy and quality of the product deliverables
• Exercising the role in the software development process adopted for the team as an active team player
• Performing troubleshooting activities in the development as well as customer production environments
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• A Bachelor of Science in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial or IT Java Enterprise software development
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Java application development in eclipse or similar IDE, along with the proficiency in programming with basic Java and latest language features and practices
• Knowledge and experience in Jboss (WildFly) application server and writing components involving Servlet, JSP, JDBC, EJB. Experience in using Redis memory cache is a plus.
• Java web client technologies, including JavaScript, ExtJS or similar JavaScript frameworks, html, with real-world experience in programming and debugging web application user interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, capable of understanding and implementing complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical matters required in a fast-paced, global software development team.
