Our growing North American Consulting practice is looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Healthcare Consulting practice.
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Coordinates and monitors billable projects from initiation through delivery. Works as a consulting team member on for-fee product creation, enhancement, or integration projects. Serve as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure billable projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Operate with minimal supervision. Typically reports to a Service Director. Usually requires five to ten years of experience in the areas of software implementation, lead/Senior Business Consulting for software implementations. Expertise and work efforts focus on the programming and development of new products or the customization of existing products depending on the client project at hand. Duties usually performed at customer’s site. Serves as pre-sales specialist when needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of highly complex projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Defines project scope and objectives. Concept through final implementation. Develops detailed project plans and manages implementation processes including, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on time delivery within budget. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables, if applicable. Project management skills and experience are key, and a strong technical background in a relevant technology is generally required. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Must have prior Infor/Lawson project management OR ERP Implementation Project Management experience from a consulting focus. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience should include large (multi-million $), ERP full suite implementation experience for multi-location clients. No relocation required. Home based position with 50% +/- travel required. Project Manager to be part of Infor's Ciber Practice.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Retail software implementation.
• Demonstrated experience managing Retail Software projects. Ability to manage the most complex projects (both large scale and small scale).
• Consulting experience.
• PMP certification.
• Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience.
