SUMMARY:
The Director, Inside Sales will direct and provide sales leadership to a global team of inside sales and business development (lead generation) managers and their teams. He/she will:
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning for each division.
• Align Infor inside sales goals to those of the direct field sales organization; collaborate with field sales management to develop joint strategy and account plans; take initiative on weekly & regular communications
• Develop and execute strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director.
• Responsible for coaching, performance management and career development of staff.
• Participate in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management.
• Handle escalations and participate directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
• Assist in the creation of division strategy and consults with senior management in providing direction to ensure growth and financial success, including appropriate territory mapping & quota assignment
• Ensure a consistent approach of organizational policies and procedures.
• Successfully manage a P&L to achieve margin targets including efficient management of T&E and Headcount expenses
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, including forecasting to Global Head Inside Sales.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA in Business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
• 7+ years managing large, high performance inside sales teams with multiple managers, preferably with global responsibility
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to support complicated enterprise applications software solution sales cycles.
• Thorough understanding of CRM/SFA, Campaign management and other social selling tools
• Ability to manage crises and tolerate ambiguity.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with Excel
• Familiarity with prominent sales methodologies (e.g., The Complex Sale) and their application to the team selling environment

Prior Business Intelligence and SaaS experience preferred.
