JOB POSITION: Global Enablement Marcomms Events


JOB LOCATION: New York Metro Remote


JOB SUMMARY: The Global Enablement (GE) Marcom Events lead will plan, orchestrate and measure the effectiveness of the execution of GE’s event programming working closely with Training and Delivery, Voice of Customer, Product Strategy and Sales leads. The lead should be adept at building relationships and navigating a large cross-functional organization, as well as be skilled in working with senior leaders and executive.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Management: GE event mgmt. & execution; engine development and guidance - dependent on project, program, campaign, initiative and audience. Own and drive Tier 1 internal and external event planning and execution, and partner with leads across GE to ensure consistency in event delivery and attendee experiences:
• Tier 1 Event Management: Sales Summits, Inforum, Premier Audience/Role events
• Tier 2 Event Management: Audience/Role events, Bootcamps/On-boardings, Hack-a-thons, Open Houses, etc. as bandwidth allows
• Develop event strategy and vision while ensuring innovative event experience.
• Develop event schedule and agenda with key stakeholders to ensure it aligns with the overarching product roadmaps, event messaging pillars, business priorities and executive vision
• Work closely with speaker teams to ensure content and messaging is consistent and on-brand.
• Manage cross-functional working groups and internal review and sign-offs including working group for compliance approvals.
• Lead program management and localization of these programs to regional audiences
• Build out event “engine” that stakeholders could plug into (i.e. ongoing call or events series) and event-in-a-box tool kit(s) to support the regional programming that they cannot engage in deeply

Community Programming
• Support select strategic community partnerships and programming
• Host community and social engagements (i.e. Meetups, Association Events, etc.)
• Co-develop quarterly and/or semi-annual “open house” events for community associations and non-profits

Intelligence & Insights: Manage execution and analysis of research and surveys to assess effectiveness of programs.
• Enablement and Talent development and learning benchmarks
• Annual / 360 Feedback and Surveys
• Competitive analysis and insights
• Market intelligence and benchmarks
• Customer Success stories

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• MBA degree with Marketing concentration
• BA in Marketing, Communications and/or PR
• 7+ years of Program Marketing, Marketing campaign or Sales Support experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Exceedingly strong project management, attention to detail, organization, and speed in delivery
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Drive for excellence, self-directed, and excellent communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• 5+ years direct customer engagement experience
• 5+ years Sales enablement experience
• Citizenship and community management
• Experience working with Education institutions (K-12 and Higher education) and non-profits
