The Infor Performance Management / Business Intelligence Division is looking to enhance its team across the board and is currently looking to recruit an experienced Consultant with experience of designing and implementing d/EPM - Business Intelligence based solutions. The role requires you to be able work at all stages in the project life-cycle including hands-on application design and development. This is a client facing role and you will need excellent communication skills. In terms of development, you will be responsible for specifying, designing and implementing solutions.
While the role is predominantly home based you will have to have the flexibility to travel to client sites and work away from home as needed. You will also need accounting skills, though not necessarily ACA/CIMA, but be able understanding accounting well and understand financial requirements and translate into technical implementation.
Duties and responsibilities
Be the Corporate and field focal point for the co-ordination of Infor Performance Management Solutions (dEPM) related learning, training, enablement, best practice and lessons learned.
Work with the Infor practice of Solution Architects for the purposes of accelerating learning of Infor Business Intelligence tool readiness to the field.
Provide a focal point for ICS sales relating to Infor Performance Management Solutions (dEPM) and Business Intelligence opportunities, within your designated territory in order to improve the quality of SOW’s involving these new technologies and assist the bid process where Business Intelligence is included.
Provide assistance to Infor prospects with choosing the right set of Products and designing reusable integration between discrete Infor products and business units.
Manage relations with consultants, developers, operational personnel and technology leadership (CTO, CIO, Directors etc.) within prospect organizations and be comfortable in working within all levels of the client.
Provide feedback on product features and priorities to the product management and development team.
Consult with customers on business process improvements, challenging established paradigm.
Create and maintain positive customer relationships.
Assist in design and delivery of on-site and/or web-based training for both customers and Infor consultants.
Maintain the vision for the solution through the implementation.
Manage in conjunction with the appointed Infor Project Manager hands-on engagements to help clients successfully execute testing and move to deployment readiness.
Be prepared to troubleshooting performance, scale and availability issues for integrated solutions including debugging production problems, if the situation arises.
Qualifications:
Experience in a client facing, consultative role
Experience of several full project life-cycle implementations.
Excellent communication skills

Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas.

Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
Excellent knowledge of OLAP solutions - Infor PM OLAP or TM/1, Hyperion, SAP, knowledge highly desirable
Experience of designing and implementing OLAP based solutions, e.g. Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Sales Analysis is highly desirable
Knowledge of some of the following would be highly desirable:
Microsoft Business Intelligence platform including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS, MDX
Microsoft based analytical and reporting tools, e.g. Office/Excel/Access, Intelligent Apps, Crystal Decisions, Business Objects etc.
Data Warehousing and ETL Tools
Relational database technologies
Multi-dimensional database technologies
Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server (SPS)
ERP and Accounting Systems, e.g. Lawson/Infor M3, LN, Syteline, System 21
