Job Overview
Performs the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required to develop the overall enterprise or program solution and solution architecture (ESA) and to ensure that it is implemented and integrated.
(Note: This is not the job description of an individual project architect, individual solution architect or project design lead. This enterprise-level role — the enterprise solution architect — focuses across more
than one product or solution at a time, while supporting individual project or solution architects on individual solutions.)

Primary Responsibilities and Activities
• Define, with input from others, the overall solution for the engagement. This may include multiple INFOR products and solutions, integrated with multiple existing or in flight solutions at the client site. The goal is to create, implement and turn over a well-integrated final solution that functions as promised to each client.
• Works with Solution Architects and Technical Architects from all individual solutions client (INFOR, and other contractors) to ensure that the overall architecture and principles are commonly agreed upon.
• Develop road maps describing the evolution of all enterprise solution portfolios from
current state to future state.
• Work with INFOR development, product, and cloud operations groups to ensure client solution and INFOR architectures are compatible.
• Mentor and assist individual solution and technical architects.

Primary Work Arrangements
• This role will report to the head of the INFOR architecture practice as part of the organization, cost center, etc. It will also have an engagement reporting requirement to the senior engagement management personnel leading each engagement to which he/she is assigned (DE, Prog Mgr, Proj Mgr)
• This role will coordinate closely with enterprise business, information and technology
architects, while virtually leveraging subject matter experts from any needed technical or
business area.
• This role may also work closely with separate teams of project or solution architects that
do only individual project work.
• This role will collaborate with business constituents, other EA team members, project
teams and IT staff as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.

Education and Training
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent
experience

Experience
• Minimum of ten years of hands-on design and implementation experience in IT, with
knowledge in a minimum of three of the following technical disciplines:
• Application development
• Network design and operations
• Middleware and integration of diverse solutions
• Technical landscape: Environments, performance, Cloud, etc.
• User Interface development and use in multi-solution environments
• Data Analytics and big data and reporting tools and architecture
• IT Operations

• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments is required
• Project solution architecture experience, particularly across diverse environments is required

• Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture
• Knowledge of key aspects of the business
• Basic knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
• Basic knowledge of information principles and policies
• Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting
• Strong understanding of network and data center architecture, as well as application
development methodologies
• Understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems
• Understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to respond to the political
challenges
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
