JOB SUMMARY: Lead the training group within consulting services team of GT Nexus to create, deliver and manage trainings required for our consulting resources to be effective in their roles. Effectively use a variety of education methods, deliverables and activities including, but not limited to: instructor-led training in the classroom and virtually, on-site client consulting, and web-based training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Consulting leaders to understand the various job roles and skill requirements
• Understand the Skills management framework and provide ideas to improve it as appropriate
• Understand the training tools within Infor and the GT Nexus implementation of these. Work on improving these as needed
• Work with GT Nexus Services leaders to list the knowledge and skills required for the consulting resources to be successful in their jobs. This could be across Product, industry, supply chain, soft skills, technical skills, process and methodology, organization, etc.
• Arrange for courses and assessments to be created based on the needs by role. Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) within GT Nexus, in the broader Infor community and industry to get the right person to create these courses.
• Assess effectiveness of training courses and provide guidelines to improve effectiveness
• Create and deliver some of these courses (soft skills that include leadership skills, managerial skills, etc)
• Collaborate with education leaders across other groups within GT Nexus to leverage some of their content and share our content
• Provide analysis and status to senior leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field and related industry experience
• Supply chain experience, a big plus
• Experience in education or in training departments

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Passion for education
• Effective training skills
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Skilled in training tools such as Adobe Captivate, Netexam, etc
• Proficient in time management, working independently and interpersonal communication
• Networking skills
• Influencing and motivating skills
