Surveillance Agent

JOB SUMMARY

The Surveillance Agent will be responsible for the observation and monitoring of all gaming related activities on the Pechanga Resort & Casino property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Surveillance Agents are responsible for maintaining the monitor room according to regulations and procedures with the upmost integrity and professionalism.
• Must know how to operate and maintain the Closed Circuit Television System as directed by Gaming Commission standards.
• Responsible for observing irregular activities such as cheating or theft by employees or patrons. Must ensure that all policies are being followed by employees such as cash handling by Cage Cashiers, payouts and proper dealing procedures by Dealers and other various employees.
• Must read and be thoroughly familiar with all approved policies and procedures for employees of other departments as set forth by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Be knowledgeable of State Regulations, Penal Codes, Radio Codes and Minimum Internal Control.
• Must observe casino activities and ensure all SOPs, Minimal Internal Control Standards (MICS) and all other regulations (State, Federal, and/or Tribal) are adhered to.
• Agent is responsible for logging all suspected criminal activity or unusual activity or activities and occurrences observed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Agents must have basic gaming skills consisting of minimal knowledge in Class II and Class III Gaming.
• Must have a minimum of six months Surveillance experience preferred.
• Agents must be proficient in retaining and recalling numbers along with memorizing subject faces.
• Ability to work under stressful situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor as well as multi tasks various projects and phone calls.
• Agents must have excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to write reports) and knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Agents must have sufficient visual ability to observe multiple monitor screens, have auditory ability to hear equipment, alarms and communication by radio and/or telephone traffic.
• Agents must have ability to sit for extended periods of time in a confined and dark area with low temperatures.
• Agents must have a team player attitude and be comfortable working with other team members of various levels.
• Qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” Gaming License and pass drug screening upon hire.
• Agree to sign and honor a Confidentiality Agreement.
• High School Diploma.
