Dining Room Host in Blue Coyote Cafe at TSR

Job Title: Dining Room Host (day shift) in Blue Coyote at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Dining Shift Supervisor

Summary
Greets restaurant patrons with a positive friendly attitude. Seats patrons in a timely manner ensuring that the guest has a favorable dining experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 1-year work experience in an F&B environment. Cashiering experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Card.

Other Qualifications
Must be able to operate a cash register and process cash transactions accurately. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages. Must be a team player, have a positive attitude and present a
well-groomed appearance.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
