Central Billing Assistant - Central Billing
Job Summary: Responsible for correcting, completing, and processing claims of all payer codes.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma. Six (6) months previous insurance billing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Associates degree preferred. Knowledge of current billing and patient collections methods/requirements. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT Coding and previous experience in a health care setting preferred. Experience with Athena a plus.
Working Conditions: Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Physical Requirements: Constantly sit, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear. Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs.
