HRIS Specialist
Job Title: HRIS SPECIALIST
Department: Human Resources Gaming License: Class III FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: HRIS Supervisor Salary: DOE Summary Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) files which contain all employee data, benefits, and compensation. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; 4 years related experience in human resources, compensation or benefits; work experience in the hospitality environment strongly preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resource Information System Experience preferred. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (AS400, Infinium a plus); Accounting software; internet software; Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, experience is necessary. Other Qualifications Must have knowledge of all benefit and Human Resources regulatory requirements (HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, etc.). Must be skilled and comfortable working independently with little or no supervision. Must be able to work harmoniously with all members of the department as well as all other departments. Must be able to work at a fast pace, managing multiple projects and highly organized. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. *CB* |
