Job Title: Bingo Caller
Department: Bingo Reports To: Bingo Shift Supervisor Summary: The Bingo Caller calls out the numbers in the Bingo game and operates the equipment that randomly selects the numbers. The Bingo Caller also makes announcements over the public address system to Bingo players and guests. Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience : High School Diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of experience that provided a basic knowledge of the Bingo game, calling protocol, console maintenance/programming and guest relations. Must have a clear resonant voice. Must possess basic mathematical skills. Computer Skills : Basic PC skills required. Casino Arizona/Talking Stick Resort Language Skills : Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; secondary smoke and risk of electrical shock.
