Job Title: Restaurant Manager (Blue Coyote, Cantina, Pool and Room Service) at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Food & Beverage Gaming License: Class III FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager Summary Directs and coordinates activities of the food and beverage personal and service in the front of the house restaurant. Manages staff, products, service and financial results. Ensures excellent customer service. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages the Lead Restaurant Supervisor who supervises employees in the restaurant or outlet. May manage one non-supervisory employee, the Sommelier. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; College degree in Hospitality Management; 8 to 10 years related experience in the Food & Beverage industry with, at least, 5 years in a management role; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 and/or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills and knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel. Other Qualifications * Must have strong communication, supervisory and organizational skills. * Must have excellent customer service skills. * Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers and staff and instill the idea of being a team player. * Must present a cheerful and friendly personality and have a well-groomed appearance at all times. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. *CB* |
