Maintenance Technician II at Casino Arizona

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Starting Pay Range: $15.49 to $20.49 per hour; depending on prior experience

Performs general maintenance duties, as assigned and/or depending on experience/competence, under guidance of preventive maintenance and work orders.

General maintenance:
 Performs maintenance and repairs on major system breakdowns, diagnosing problem(s).
 Performs preventive maintenance to keep locks and locking devices in functional and safe operating condition.
 Installs and/or repairs carpet and vinyl flooring.
 Repairs, replaces and performs preventive maintenance on all motors, panels and electrical equipment.
 Replaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repairs dimmers, refrigeration controls and contacts.
 Responsible for all preparation necessary to ensure proper application of paints, varnishes, sealers and rust-proofing.
 Repairs furniture, doors, windows, slot machine stands, gambling tables and millwork.
 Fabricates office partitions, doors, counters, panel walls, and ceilings.
 Installs, connects, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, various gas, steam and other pressure systems.

Education and/or Experience
Must possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. 2 to 5 years work experience in at least 1 trade required; and/or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Certificate or vocational education diploma preferred.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places;
secondary smoke; toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
