Maintenance Technician III at Talking Stick Resort

Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Starting Pay Range: $17.51 to $23.16 per hour; depending on prior experience

Summary
Performs general maintenance duties, as assigned and/or depending on experience/competence, under guidance of preventive maintenance and work orders.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Occasionally, oversees and mentors the Maintenance Laborer in the Maintenance Department.

Education and/or Experience
Must possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. Journeyman in 1 or more trades with 5 or more years work experience required; and/or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Certificate or vocational education diploma required. EPA Universal Tech certification; certificate or license as a refrigeration technician; five (5) years experience in low temp repair and maintenance; five (5) years field experience in ice machine repair and
maintenance; five (5) years experience in electrical control troubleshooting and repair; general working knowledge of chiller/cooling tower AC systems.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; secondary smoke; toxic or caustic
chemicals and fumes; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
