Coordinator Development

Job Summary: Manages and coordinates all office activities and events, including transmittals for deposits, correspondence, gift acknowledgements and management of the donor database.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and deposits cash and checks as well as process credit card donations within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Code and input all donations with appropriate funds/sources.
  • Maintain accurate financial records/ cash log for all donations and pledges.
  • Prepare and analyzes reports.
  • Inputs and maintains all donors.
  • Coordinates acknowledgement process through Razors Edge Mail Merge System for development campaigns.
  • Investigates software to improve Development processes and procedures.
  • Processes all check requests, tracks completion, distribute and files.
  • Processes daily mail, maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed.
  • Coordinates meetings for Executive Director, Manager, Leadership Forum and Development Council.
  • Coordinates pre-event reservations and registrations and then on-site for all events needed as well as volunteers for said events.
  • Records and distributes minutes for the Development Council.
  • Coordinates mailings from the donor software.

 

Minimum Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years’ experience with fundraising & special events coordinating.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Associate’s degree preferred. Razor Edge experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter, detailed oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks and complete projects on time. Knowledgeable of Microsoft products and the ability to learn computer software.

 

Working Conditions:  Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

 

Physical Requirements:   Constantly sit, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear.  Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 49 lbs.
