Lead Restaurant Supervisor/Orange Sky
Job Title: Lead Restaurant Supervisor (swing shift) Orange Sky Restaurant at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Restaurant Manager Starting rate: Up to $25.00 per hour; depending on prior experience Summary Assists the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all facets of the front-end operation of the Orange Sky Restaurant. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises the Dining Shift Supervisors who supervise servers, bussers and dining room hosts and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Casino Arizona policies and procedures. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 5 years high-volume restaurant experience. At least 2 years supervisory experience. POS experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 and/or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification a plus. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handler's Card. Computer Skills Must have basic PC skills. Must be able to operate an electronic cash register. Other Qualifications Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work harmoniously with others and work as a team player. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. *CB* |
