Promotions Manager

Job Title: Promotions Manager Department: Marketing
Reports To: Assistant Director of Marketing

Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Marketing and in concert with other team members of the marketing department, plans, produces and maintains an on-going schedule of promotions for all profit center departments in order to stimulate business growth for the organization. Supervises the ongoing marketing efforts for the off property sales, marketing and promotional activities of the Marketing staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages Assistant Promotions Manager.

Education and/or Experience
HS Diploma or GED required. College degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field preferred; 5 or more years’ experience in corporate promotions and/or special events, direct casino experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management or supervisory experience required.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of contact management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Casino Marketplace preferred.

* Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have the ability to multi- task.
* Must have outstanding customer service skills with an outgoing personality, presenting an image of excitement and enthusiasm.
* A strong sales background is desired.
* Must always present self as well-groomed and professional.
* Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
