ECM DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Job Title: ECM Development Specialist

Reports To: ECM Development Manager
Salary: Depending on experience

Summary
Assists in identifying, researching, developing, and implementing career opportunities for employees that are enrolled community members of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. Guides the direction and focus of the Pathways to Success and ECM Mentoring Programs and generates awareness. Takes on a leadership role, acts as an Ambassador on ECM matters, and develops a positive presence within the organization for all ECM’s.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required: Bachelors Degree from a college or university in Human Resources, Training, Communications or another related field required.  Three (3) to five (5) years of professional work experience in career development counseling in a business, an educational institution or other related organization; and/or a combination of education, training and professional work experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.  Prior experience with adult education/training and making presentations to groups required.

Computer Skills
Must be fully proficient using Microsoft Office applications. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills and a strong working knowledge of current Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
