Quality Improvement Coordinator - QualityJob Summary: Coordinates high quality abstraction, quality improvement projects, and assists with facilitating teams working on processes pertinent to the organization and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in nursing or a related allied health discipline.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three (3) years’ of relevant experience performing data abstraction, analysis and process improvement preferred. Knowledge of, or experience in, the delivery of patient care needed to perform the duties of the position. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytic problem solving skills, as well as have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of statistics needed. Experience in PDCA, Lean, and FMEA tools and processes preferred. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform in a self-directed manner within a team-focused framework.
Working Conditions: Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements: Constantly see/visual acuity. Frequently sit, talk/hear, handle/grasp/feel. Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 50+ lbs. |
