Job Title: Keno Shift Supervisor
Department: Keno Reports To: Keno Lead Shift Supervisor Summary Supervises and coordinates activities of workers, on a specific shift, in the Keno Department. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises Keno Runner/Writers, on a given shift, in the Keno Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Keno experience required; Prior supervisory experience or, at least, 1-year experience as a Relief Shift Supervisor preferred. Computer Skills Basic computer skills required. Other Qualifications Must have the ability to effectively work with customers and employees. Must be able to operate all equipment in the Keno stations. Must have thorough knowledge of Keno operations in order to train new employees and new customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good problem solving and team building qualities essential. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. |
