Promotions Coordinator

Job Title: Promotions Coordinator
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Assistant Promotions Manager

Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Promotions Manager, coordinates the development and implementation of all promotional related activities. The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for notifying all department heads of the promotion and explaining what, if any, their participation will be. The individual must also coordinate all activities in the casino necessary to execute promotions.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED required; college degree in sales, marketing or advertising preferred. Two (2) or more years of experience in a casino marketing environment is required. Four (4) or more years of working in promotions and events, along with a college degree in sales, marketing or advertising may be considered in lieu of casino experience.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills (candidates will be tested). Working experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook) is required. Working experience with a casino player tracking system and kiosk system is preferred.

Other Qualifications
Must have strong writing skills. Experience with public speaking in front of a crowd in a career environment is required. Excellent organizational and communications skills are required. Must be a team player and be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
