Job Summary: Perform CT scan procedures according to Oaklawn Hospital standards.
Minimum Qualifications: Registered Radiological Technologist in CT or registry-eligible graduate. Registry-eligible technologist must receive CT certification within two attempts or one year of date of hire, whichever occurs first. BLS certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy/physiology and disease process, quality control and all contrast media used in Imaging and sterile technique and the administration of nitroglycerin & lopressors. Skilled in building interpersonal relationships, monitoring patient responses, assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, and problem solving.
Working Conditions: May occasionally be exposed to infectious diseases or hazardous materials.
Physical Requirements: Constantly walk, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, talk/hear. Frequently stand, reach, push/pull, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 50+ lbs.
