Coordinator - Health Information ServicesJob Summary: Provides support, coordination and facilitation for projects within the HIM department. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)certified or eligible to test for RHIT, CCS or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes; knowledge of computers and misc. software, electronic medical records and registry process; skilled in interpersonal relationships and customer service. Working knowledge of identified registry functions. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. Working Conditions: Work is generally performed in an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Physical Requirements: Constantly sit, see/visual acuity, talk/hear. Frequently stand, walk, handle/grasp/feel. Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 49 lbs. |
