Recruitment Specialist

Job Title: Recruitment Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Recruitment Supervisor

Summary
Sources, recruits, pre-screens and refers job applicants to hiring managers/directors to fill vacancies in their departments. Maintains accurate records of recruitment activity, new hires and workflow for the Human Resources Department. Handles each new hire from point of introduction through completion of onboarding process.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
HS/GED required. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Human Resources or related field; 2 years’ experience primarily in recruitment and staffing for a large company, hospitality industry experience strongly preferred and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and Human Resources work experience that provided up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills and a strong working knowledge of Human Resources systems; Microsoft Office applications are strongly preferred. Must have a strong working knowledge of Internet recruiting.

Other Qualifications
* Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts and practices as they relate to networking and lead/prospect development through research and sourcing techniques.
* Must possess excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
* Must be flexible in relation to work schedule in order to be able to meet with company hiring authorities, internal and external job applicants when they are available.
* Must have a proven track record of dependability, punctuality and an excellent attendance record.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and occasionally to stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
