Seasonal Intern

Job Summary: Assists with end-point workstation projects of the I.T. department.     

Essential Functions:

  • Processes PC imaging and distribution
  • Processes database input of computer assets
  • Documents
  • Assists with Level 1 Helpdesk tickets, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: Current student enrolled and pursuing an associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field. Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Customer service and team collaboration experience, analytical thinking driving towards problem resolution, and detailed oriented. Prior work experience or internship is preferred. Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Visio, Access preferred. Computer devices, File servers, LAN/WAN, Operating Systems, Project Management (methodologies, principles, etc.), Business Applications, Analysis, Design, Application development.

Working Conditions:  High level of physical activity delivering equipment.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to lift individual computer components or boxes to and from a cart used for delivering equipment.  Must be able to work under desks and tight places, in order to connect devices. Occasionally sit, frequently stand, walk, reach, push/pull, bend/twist, stoop/kneel/crouch, handle/ grasp / feel lift/carry 1 to 49 lbs.
