Reports To: Cage Technician Supervisor
Wage/Salary Grade: $13.91 per hour
Provides technical and operational support of ticket redemption machines, automated teller machines
(ATM), automated check machines (ACM) and other Cage Department machinery.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year certificate in electronics
from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in electronics;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Cash handling experience or previous cashiering
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer hardware and
software; troubleshooting knowledge preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged
periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or
balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift
and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts,
secondary smoke and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
