Lead Nuclear Medicine TechJob Summary: Mentors and trains other Nuclear Medicine (NM) Technologist and coordinates schedule with other departments to ensure the day to day activities for NM testing and invasive patient procedures are done timely and accurately. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine. Nuclear Medicine Professional boards required. Five (5) years of experience in a hospital NM department. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of all anatomy and physiology associated with Nuclear Medicine Testing. Strong IV skills. Knowledge of various NM materials and used. Basic Life Safety Certification (BLS) preferred. Working Conditions: May occasionally be exposed to infectious diseases or hazardous materials. Physical Requirements: Constantly walk, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, talk/hear. Frequently stand, reach, push/pull, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 50+ lbs. |
