Advertising Manager

Job Title: Advertising Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Assistant Director of Marketing

Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Marketing and in coordination with other team members, is responsible for all casino advertising to include television, radio, print, outdoor, social media, direct mail, email, digital signage, in-casino signage, allied advertising media and collateral materials. Directly manages the Multi-Media Designers, Web and Graphic Designers, Advertising Specialist and Advertising Coordinator in the Marketing Department. Works closely with the Promotions Manager, Online Marketing Manager, Sr. Database Manager, Casino Manager and Entertainment Manager to assure advertising/marketing needs are completed for their departments. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring the completion of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
HS Diploma or GED required. College degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field preferred; 10 or more years’ experience in casino advertising, promotions and/or special events; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Management or supervisory experience required.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills and working knowledge of desktop publishing software (e.g. Quark Xpress, Adobe Creative Cloud, In-Design, etc.).

. Must have outstanding customer service skills with an outgoing personality, presenting an image of excitement and enthusiasm.
. Must be knowledgeable about all facets of the printing and production business.
. Must have knowledge and experience in preparation of budgets, managing, planning and workflow.
. Must always present self in a well-groomed and professional manner.
. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.


Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
