Accounts Payable Representative

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable representative position is primarily responsible for processing Accounts Payable and providing clerical and administrative support to the Accounting department.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently use an outward mindset and put forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives
  • Organize and process invoices for approval and timely payment
  • Maintain vendor relationships and reconcile monthly statements; Clarify any questionable invoice items or prices and resolve discrepancies
  • maintain copies of approvals, invoices or correspondence for paper and electronic filing system
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor – GL

Minimum Qualifications:   18 years of age. One (1) year experience in Accounts Payable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Prior clerical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Computer skills, including keyboarding are required. Experience with Microsoft office is preferred.

Working Conditions:  Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment and is generally sedentary in nature.  

Physical Requirements:   Constantly sit, see/visual acuity. Frequently handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear.  Occasionally lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs.
