NIGHT AUDITOR

Job Title: NIGHT AUDITOR
Department: Finance
Gaming License: Class III
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Night Audit Supervisor
Starting Wage: $14.42 per hour

Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for the audit reconciliation of all guest and event charges, postings and correct work as required. The Night Auditor will reconcile daily activity and close all accounts in preparation for the new day. All information will be processed and formatted into daily accounting reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; One to two years audit experience required; prior night audit experience preferred and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and related work experience sufficient to successfully perform duties.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs to include Excel and Word. Knowledge of accounting software (Infinium and Visual 1) preferred not required.

Other Qualifications:
This candidate must have good oral and written communications skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data. Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers and clients and be a team player. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Language Skills:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers to touch or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
