Banquet Bartender at Talking Stick Resort

Job Title: Floater Bartender (varied shifts) at Talking Stick Resort
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Beverage Supervisor

Summary
The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to any patron who approaches the bar and is responsible for preparing drinks for beverage servers that are serving patrons in restaurants and other F&B venues. Bartenders at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort may be assigned to work in lounges, restaurants, on the gaming floors, showrooms, at the pool area or at banquets.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
HS/GED required; must be 21 years of age and have at least 1 year of bartending experience, complete in-house training as barback/beverage server or be a certified bartender. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 and/or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card.

*Must be able to work quickly and accurately in stressful situations.
*Must be open to work a flexible schedule and be available nights, weekends and holidays, if
necessary.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; secondary smoke and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
