Production Beverage Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Production Beverage Supervisor supervises the daily operation of all Beverage Storage Rooms, Inventory and Bar Porters. Responsible for ensuring proper inventory controls and organization of storage rooms in accordance with departmental standards. Will at all times enforce Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC) policies and procedures. FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by PRC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Takes daily Production stockroom inventories for proper accountability. • Daily ordering of product from warehouse or vendor direct. • Daily requisition of orders, and delivery to all F&B outlets. • Assists in monthly inventories taken by inventory control. • Conducts weekly bar audits at all bars and service bars. • Programs bottle spouts as it pertains to the Berg liquor dispensing system. • Maintains and follows proper safety and sanitation procedures. • Abides by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC. • Responsible for maintaining proper Beverage Bar Porter staffing levels at all times. • Responsible for training and ensuring all certifications are completed for Bar Porters. • Communication with Beverage Management team. • Other duties as assigned. ACCOUNTABILITY: The Production Beverage Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training Team Members; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC. ________________________________________ QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES ________________________________________ EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 2 years relative Beverage experience, 6 months in a supervisory capacity, required to successfully perform this job. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other Team Members of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class “A” gaming license. • Food Handlers Certification. • Responsible Beverage Certification. SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with Team Members and guests. • Use of pallet jacks and other applicable warehouse equipment. • Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
