Blackjack Extraboard Floorperson
Job Title: Blackjack Extraboard Floor Person
Department: Blackjack Reports To: Blackjack Pit Supervisor Pay Rate: $19.06 per hour plus tip income Summary Ensures excellent customer service and monitors games in their respective areas. Preserves the integrity of the games with respect to employee and customer compliance with applicable rules/procedures. Ensures a pleasant and protected area for customers. Oversees 4 to 8 Blackjack Dealers and Blackjack Pit Clerks on a given shift. Education and/or Experience HS/GED required. Requires at least 1-year blackjack dealing experience. Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience desired, preferably in a gaming environment. Other Qualifications Must possess good writing and math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages. Must have the ability to perform duties in a positive and professional manner. Must demonstrate reliability and flexibility in work schedule (i.e. work weekends and evenings). Superior customer service skills required. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. *CB* |
