Orange Sky Restaurant Manager at Talking Stick Resort

Job Title: Manager of Orange Sky Restaurant and Degree 270 Nightclub at Talking Stick Resort
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

This position is directly responsible for maintaining a fine-dining experience in the award-winning Orange Sky Restaurant AS WELL AS providing a high-energy environment in the Degree 270 Nightclub, a local hot spot. The successful candidate for this position must be able to switch gears between the two unique environments to serve the needs of guests and staff at both venues. This manager will direct and coordinate the activities of food and beverage personnel while ensuring excellent customer service and achieving revenue goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages the Lead Restaurant Supervisor who supervises employees in the restaurant and nightclub. May manage one non-supervisory employee, the Sommelier.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; College degree in Hospitality Management; 8 to 10 years related experience in the Food & Beverage industry with, at least, 5 years in a management role; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 and/or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills and knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
